Supplication before eating

‘When you are about to eat, you should say:

بِسْمِ الله

"Bismillaah"

Translation:

In the  Name of Allah

...and if you forget to say it before starting, then you should say [when you remember]:

بِسْمِ اللهِ في أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِـرِه

Bismillaahifee 'awwalihi wa 'aakhirihi.

Translation:

"In the Name of Allah, in the beginning and in the end"

‘Whomever Allaah feeds, should say:

اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ لَنا فيهِ وَأَطْـعِمْنا خَـيْراً مِنْـه

Allaahumma baarik lanaafeehi wa 'at'imnaa khayranminhu.

Translation:

"O  Allah, bless us in it and provide us with better than it"

...and whomever Allaah gives milk to drink, should say:

اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ لَنا فيهِ وَزِدْنا مِنْه

Allaahumma baarik lanaa feehi wa zidnaa minhu

Translation:

"O  Allah , bless us in it and give us more of it".
